He
was aregional politician i,e Gualeteir of Saxony during WW II. His
fund raising capabilities were much appreciated by Top Nazis. He was a passionate hunter. He faced criticism that he did not prepare Saxony to face severe
allied bombardment. He was arrested by soviets while he was trying to escape
after the death of Hitler.. He was tried, sentenced to death and was shot dead on Fen 14, 1947
