He was from Bavarian kingdom and fought in WW I and was an officer in army. When war was over he was a captain. He joined German communist party KPD in 1932. In 1934 he planned to assassinate Hitler being an anti Nazi and was arrested and imprisoned till 1939. after release he again went back and took part in resistance activities. He was arrested in 1942 for these activities and was sentenced to death on 16 june 1944. He was executed on 25 Sept 1944 at Bradenburg Goerden prison.
