She was a British special operations agent . she was
captured by Germans during her second visit to occupied France. She was sent to
Ravensbruck camp where she was interrogated and tortured. Ashe was executed by
shooting in back of head on 5 February 1945. She was posthumously awarded
George Cross.Her husband a French national died in WW II fighting Germans, She
was survived by a daughter and mother.
