maker. He became a communist leader soon and made contact with Many communist
outfits. He was arrested as he was found to edit a news paper underground and
tried to collect donations for the families of those who were in prison. he was
sentenced to 21 months jail term. After release he again went back to his
activities. Gestapo was on the track. And they placed informers among the local
groups. Uhrig was arrested in 1942 and sent to Sachausen hausen concentration
camp . He was sentenced to death and was murdered
