He was a senior SS officer of rank Brigade fuehrer and
commanded Ist SS cavalry during invasion of Soviet Union. He was responsible
for mass murders. At the end of war, he was arrested by Soviet Union. And was
sentenced to prison term in 1947! He was released in 1955 as a policy of
amnesty due to efforts of West German Chancellor with Nikita Kruschev Prime Minister of USSR. He was.
