Dr Kurt DEBUS was an Electrical engineer basically and was
the member of rocket team of Von Braun. Initially he was with development of VI
and V 2. Missiles during WW II And was the member of rocket team headed by Von
Braun.He was the chief engineer in the project. He was in charge for firing of
the missile over Baltic. After war , he went to US as member of paper clip
program and was the team member of Von Braun. He was with US army's first Redstone ballistic program. He was associated with first satellite launch in
USA. When Apollo mission succeeded, he was the director of Kennedy space center.
After a successful career and contribution to US might, he passed away in sleep at the
age of 74 years in cocoa at Florida.
