He was a First World War
veteran .Later , he became ardent follower of Hitler even before he shot up to
power. During beer hall pusch he saved Hitler from death by protecting him with
his own body and received many bulletWounds when policemen fired. When Hitler came to power , he was
elevated in rank in SS. He became a gruppen fuhrer. And he became a member of
inner circle of Adolf Hitler. Hitler and his associates did not forget the
sacrifice he made to save Hitler. After war, he was sentenced to five years of
hard labour in 1948 . But he died in 1950.
He was a medical doctor and
worked at Dachau and Buchenwald camps. He was personally responsible for
extermination of more than 20000 inmates. After WWII, he was tried at Dachau
trials by US Military tribunal and was sentenced to death. At Buchenwald trails
also was sentenced accordingly. However after eight members of board gave in
writing that the prosecution was faulty he was awarded 10 years term in jail.
He was however released early. He escaped to Egypt when again evidence was
being gathered against him and settled there. Mossad of Israel tried to kill
him by a postal bomb but he escaped and another person was killed. All requests
by West Germany for his extradition were dismissed. He lived a free man and
passed away without paying for his crimes.
