He was a SS NCO and served
at Mauthausen concentration camp. He was charged for war crimes at Dachau by US
military tribunal along with others in a group of 61 members and was found guilty.
He was sentenced to death and hanged on 28 may 1947 at landesberg prison. The
trial was known as US vs Altfuldisch.
Otto moll was a sergeant
major of SS at Sachsenhausen camp and was transferred to Birkenau camp in
1941.Auschwitz concentration camp Was also part of it.He killed personally about
20000 persons at the camp.He was cruel and threw infants alive into burning
pits at extermination sites where prisoners were shot. He was with commandant
Rudolf Hoss. it is said that he and the commandant were awarded cross I class
with swords by Hitler, this aspect is not yet proved. The camp was abandoned on
18 Jan 1945 and he was posted to a sub camp at Dachau..He arrived at the camp
with prisoners On 28 April 1945 a day earlier before arrival of US troops.He
was arrested and tried by US military tribunal at Dachau and charged for not
allowing the prisoners to escape And war crimes. He was sentenced to death and
was hanged on 1946, may 28 at Landesberg prison.The trial case is known as US
vs Weiss
